Ancient Egypt is buzzing with excitement because Moses is back in town! Humor abounds as Pharaoh is in denial (de Nile) about what is going on - and the plagues begin to fall everywhere, and bewildered news reporters cover the story!
Hebrew slaves belt out “Building Pyramids” while griping about brick-making and dreaming of freedom. Enter hysterical news-hound Blabworth Talkington and his/her sidekick Chattie Kathie for live “Eyewitless News” reports. Moses returns from the desert, but his chatty brother Aaron keeps finishing his sentences! A Macarena-obsessed slave just wants to dance, while Pharaoh’s spoiled kids (Sneaky, Snarky, Snooty & Tag Along) whine and idol-shop like it’s Black Friday in ancient Egypt.
Pharaoh (the ultimate “No I’m not!” king) throws crocodile tears when Moses demands, “Let my people go!” Cue the hilarious plagues song – frogs, blood, boils, locusts, and darkness – all sung with Dixieland swing while Goshen parties in peace.
