Summary:
The Jittery Journey Of Jonah! (or How to Profit from a Prodigal Prophet) The story of a wayward prophet who got his attitude adjusted. Set in the television studio where “Can You Profit From This Prophet?” is taped, the play takes us to the Port of Joppa, the City of Nineveh, and (gulp!) inside the Great Fish!
With lots of great music including many foot-tapping jazz numbers, snappy humor, and kooky characters throughout, this is the story of Jonah like you've never seen it before!

Speaking Parts: 21+ (can be reduced to 11)
Soloists: Jonah, Alice & Alicia Grady, Longjohns Silverfish. Also several other solos that can be assigned to any choir member.
Costumes: TV show hostess (Pompadour), shirt and necktie (Stage Manager), modern outfits (Panelists), flashy child star outfit (Patti Cake), King and queen with crown, and bible characters (Ninny-vites). Viking costumes (Olga and crew), retro 1970s tie-dyed attire (Alice, Alicia & Gradys), Pirate captain (Longjohns) and pirate crew, Pinocchio, Blue Fairy.
